Barcelona have been fantastic again this season and they have run away with the La Liga title beating old rivals Real Madrid and they have yet again reached another Champions League final. It is no surprise that the Barcelona home kits are the top selling shirts each season and they have just released the new 2011–12 Barcelona home football shirt that they will wear in the new season.

Nike are still the Barcelona football shirt manufactures but this year they have decided to go for a different design from the normal design you expect from Barcelona with the red stripes being thicker at the top and narrower at the bottom. The other major design change on the new Barca home soccer jersey for 2011–12 is that they have a sponsor on the front in the form of the Qatar Foundation. This is the first time that Barcelona have ever been paid to have a sponsor on the front of their shirt. They still have Unicef, who they pay to have their name on the shirts, but it is at the bottom on the back of the shirt.

The new 2011–12 Barcelona home football shirt is available to but in all junior and adult sizes small boys, medium boys, large boys, XL boys, small, medium, large, XL and XXL with the official shirt printing available. The choice of names to be printed on the back of the shirt is like no other club with the most obvious being Lionel Messi however David Villa, Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Gerard Pique and Carlos Puyal are just some of the other top names at the club.
