Adidas Chelsea Away Shirt 2010/2011
Here we have the much anticipated Adidas Chelsea Away Shirt for the season 2010/11.
At first glance I like this shirt a lot, great colour combination and will have many teams this year quivering at the sight of Lampard and Co…… advancing on goal in this black and orange shirt. The striking comparison of the orange and black means this shirt sticks out in all areas.
The shirt of course has the SAMSUNG Logo across the chest and its at this point the vertical lines become a little more apparent. This shirt like so many of the modern shirts uses Adidas Cooling technology to enable players to feel a great deal more comfortable when playing. Fans shall find this extremely beneficial when sweating towards the end of the game hoping that Captain Terry can score a winning goal. I feel that this really is a striking shirt for the current Premiership Champions to be wearing in the upcoming season.
This shirt is available in all sizes, long or short sleeve and with the correct name and number on the back of all squad players from www.uksoccershop.com

Manchester United Home Kit 2010/2011
The much anticipated Nike Manchester United Home Kit for the upcoming season was made available to fans
on the 15th of July to tie in with the team wearing the kit during their Tour of
the North America. First impressions of the shirt are very good indeed. I am
drawn to the simple design and almost retro look to the shirt. It is definitely
a throw back to the late 70’s with a simple white trim down the arm and the
return of the ‘Cantona’ collar which i think is a great idea. Personally, I have
been waiting for a long time to see football shirts with collars as they just
look like they have a little more class than the round necks. In fact, when I
purchased the shirt (I bought both long and short sleeve versions) I had to put
Cantona 7 on the back of the long sleeve to mark the occasion.
This is also the first time AON have been emblazened upon the chest of a United
shirt and it looks good, the simple logo suits the look of the shirt for sure.
One of Nike’s main claims about this shirt is the fact it is made
completely from recylced materials which in the current climate is a great thing
but I will leave that for Mr Nike to be proud of as its not evident from the
looking at the shirt.
Wearing the shirt for the first time feels great, its a very comfortabl fit and
the white stripe on each arm really does finish the shirt off well. The added
little devil at the bottom of the white stripe again adds a slight touch of
class to the shirt. The back of the shirt also has an added little feature that
makes me like this shirt a little more. Just about where the nameset goes they
have added MUFC and this simple addition to the shirt shows that Nike have
thought long and hard about how to make simple things look very effective on the
shirt.
Now, it sounds like there are no negatives about the shirt and if i’m honest im
struggling to find any, although i am a little disappointed that the long sleeved
version that the white trim does not got all the way to the cuff of the shirt.
All in all a very nice shirt, a big improvement on last years home shirt which
I was never a fan of if im honest. With the upcoming introduction of a new away
shirt Nike have set the standard very high and i hope they continue in the way.
